Innovation Process Knowledge

Silicon Valley has been the greatest source of wealth creation from the application of innovation for new business for the past twenty-five years. The Valley has succeeded while many imitators [over 50] borrowing the prefix 'Silicon' have not. The Institute will distill the success factors enabling the 'Valley' to be the pre-eminent wealth generator in history and apply those principles and lessons learned as the basis for developing innovation-enhancing programs for both large enterprises and emerging young businesses.

The two primary mechanisms SVII is employing for becoming the center of excellence for innovation process knowledge are:

1) Teaming with 'thought leaders' who have created structured approaches to segments of innovation process improvement and

2) Contracting for specific research with leading academic centers for both business and technology-related innovation subjects. SVII will consolidate and enhance these inputs.

The result will be the most comprehensive and implementable body of knowledge for innovation process available. Our role will be to define the composite of issues and then integrate the knowledge components into continual state-of-the-art programs that will be applied for best advancing innovation in both large enterprises and entrepreneurial entities.
