Society
A place in the heart of Silicon Valley where innovation advocates congregate the first Wednesday of every month.
For those of you who have gotten in trouble for presenting a great idea once or twice. For some of us, this can be a daily experience. Innovation is often about audacity not being reasonable.
A place where creative folks informally break bread.
"At its heart, jamming is about improvisation in the same way a product-development team comes up with something new that compels the customer's attention. It is the tightrope a company walks between analytical rigor and inspired passion, when it leaves the sheet music behind for new horizons." -- John Kao
SVII gatherings combine timely programs focus on innovation issues. This is not a shy group. We stimulate interaction to the mutual benefit of presenters and audience, most of whom are startup veterans. SVII dialog combines intimacy with power.
The first Wednesday evening of every month an individual who has succeeded at causing innovation to occur engages a subset of our group.
The purpose of our Innovation Society varies as much as our unique attendees.
One goal is to gather a deployable innovation force capable of solving really gnarly problems.
